Add Text Effects
Click the T on the toolbar.

Here are some fun ways to add TEXT in Photoshop Elements 11.

Click the T on the toolbar, and click once in your document. Type the letter or word(s). 

 

*You DON'T NEED A TEXT BOX.

 

On the bottom of the screen, you can change the FONT.

After your text is typed, click on the "FX" button on the lower right part of the screen.

 

Choose "Styles" above on the right side of the screen.

There are several options in the pull-down menu.

 

To clear all effects, right click on the letter, and choose "clear layer style"

Check your LAYERS on the lower right part of the screen.

 

You can change the order of any letter or image by clicking and dragging the layer above or below others.

Click the Text tool, and type your text.

 

Choose the T on the lower part of the screen, and click on the icon with the frowning line underneath it. 

 

Choose an option in the pull-down menu to make your text wave, bulge, or distort in any way you like.
